About the Author
Gail Tuchman is the author of more than ninety books, stories, and plays for children, as well as two nonfiction adult titles. Her publishing career/literacy work spans four decades that includes heading educational, trade, and professional development programs at Scholastic, Inc., Macmillan/McGraw-Hill, and Classroom, Inc. Gail loves to delight children with her rhythmic poetry, to amuse with her humorous stories, and to engage and inspire with her exciting, fact-filled nonfiction books. She lives in the “Big Apple.” Margaret Gray has designed picture books, chapter books, and digital and web-based products. She is a former Director of Production in the Education Group at Scholastic, Inc.
