Cathy Williams is a Movement and Expressive Arts Therapy Facilitator, Community Development worker and multi-modal Artist based in Melbourne. Since 2008, Cathy has been actively working in the field of Community Development both within Australia and internationally. In consultation with community groups, she has designed, implemented, co-ordinated and facilitated a number of community, youth and social justice programs - all with the focus of empowerment and capacity building.Cathy holds a Masters of Social Science (International Community Development), Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications), Graduate Certificate in Movement Based Somatic Therapy, Certificate in Somatic, Performance and the Creative Process, Certificate in Expressive Therapies and further professional development training in Groupwork Facilitation, Awareness Work, Trauma and the Body, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Working with Sexual Assault. In 2016, Cathy started her business Intuitive Self initially as a side project - providing sessions, workshops and programs for participants to explore Body and Creative Arts modalities in a therapeutic way. She has worked with youth ranging from kindergarten age through to primary and teenage years, including children and youth who have learning disabilities and trauma-based challenges; and at-risk young women struggling with drug and alcohol dependency, body issues and mental health challenges. In 2022, Cathy took the leap to launch into her business full time. She now provides personalised sessions one on one to adults; public workshops, weekly series and retreats; women's circle offerings; Professional development training and staff wellbeing for professionals; and online self-paced courses.
Grace Recla is a digital designer, and artist raised in the small town of Mount Gambier and based in Melbourne. Grace grew up interested in the creative arts from a young age using illustrations, music, photography and other experimental mediums to create visually unique ways of telling stories. In the middle of 2020, she graduated from a Bachelor of Design from Swinburne University ofTechnology specialising in digital design and went on to work in the publishing design industry where she helped bring educational material to life. Now a freelance designer, Grace likes to combine creativity and lateral thinking to produce and develop concepts that communicate in a personal way. She has a cross-disciplinary design skill set incorporating innovation into her work. Other thanpublishing, she has completed projects in various other industries. With a belief in meaningful and understanding interactions. Grace has worked and has a passion for design for philanthropic work. She enjoys volunteering for multiple non-profit organisations in herspare time, using her interpersonal skills and creative ideas to support various causes. When Grace isn't working as designer, she's creating music, working on her art giftshop Dear To Hey, and exploring everything the world has to offer - rich in experiences and rich in inspiration.
