About the Author

Bruce Hansen, a 34-year award-winning classroom veteran and author, has worked with the 6 Analytical Writing Traits since they were first developed in the early 1980's. In addition to his elementary school teaching, he provides in-services for teachers and instructs a distance learning class through Portland State University. He's published dozens of motorcycle, kayak and professional articles. His first book, Motorcycle Journeys Through the Pacific Northwest, leaped into its second printing only nine months after release.
