The morning we start, which I hear is to be positively Friday, we take a few loaves of fresh bread and two or three bottles of light Crimean wine at 1s. a bottle, so, on the whole, we shall not fare badly. At night we shall sleep in our waggons, as infinitely preferable to the post-houses. I hope to write to you again from Ekaterinoslaw; till then, adieu!
