Synopsis

Introduction

You're on an island in the Mediterranean. It's nearly midnight when you decide to go for a ride on a motorbike with the man of your dreams. You're zipping along the shoreline, marveling at God's creations -- the ocean, the moon, the stars lighting up the sky.
"The reflection on the water is dreamy," you say to yourself. "I must be in heaven, never have I felt such ecstasy and freedom in my life!" The only things you hear are the waves crashing against the fishing boats. A soft breeze on your face sends chills down your spine.
You're riding behind this wonderful man; you feel safe and secure. He places his hand on your leg and pulls you closer to him. He strokes your leg and turns, slightly, toward your face to kiss your forehead. The tenderness of his body against yours keeps you warm. You inch closer and say to yourself, "There is a heaven and it doesn't get better than this!" But then in the blink of an eye, twisting and turning, you're catapulted into a black hole -- unconscious.
After a while you open your eyes, but you see nothing. There's darkness all around you. Then you notice a faint light in the distance. I must be in a cave, you think.
You walk slowly toward the light to get out of the darkness. Once you're out, it is lighter, much lighter; although you can't see objects nor people clearly; you have double vision! You have no sense of where you are, nor do have any emotions.
I will start out by briefly unfolding my family's voyage from Greece to America, and how we first adjusted to American life. I will talk about my mortals, my families believes, ethics and traditions, and how they played a role in my upbringing.     This book is based solely on my experiences! You're probably thinking, Who is she for me to what to know about her life?
I might not be a well-known celebrity, however, I was pushed into a ditch full of shit and came out standing tall! So, sit back, take a load off, relax, and let me take you for a ride you'll never forget!
     This is my story....
