About the Author
Dean E Brown has several certifications relevant to this book that include: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP), and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP). At the time of this writing he is employed as an IT Consultant. He regularly performs and reviews risk assessments while doing IT Audits and Reviews. Dean was trained as an educator and enjoys speaking on this and many other topics. He has worked for a national Not-For-Profit organization where he learned to Be Prepared. He served as a professional IT Trainer and Developer. He has lead developer and database administration teams in a global manufacturing business. He has served the past 7 years as a Consultant / IT Auditor for a CPA Firm. In honor of his parents, he will be donating 50% of the author's proceeds from this book to the American Cancer Society, and American Diabetes Association.
