Synopsis
The Adventures of Ted the Pom-Poo is a series of children's books created by Maureen Martinez featuring the cute and cuddly Ted! Through Ted's many adventures, Maureen hopes to share a few useful life lessons with small children and remind us all of the joy animals bring to our families. In the first book, Just Be Yourself!, Ted must leave his mom, dad, and brothers and go to the Pet Adoption Center to find a new family. At first, Ted is scared that no one will adopt him and he tries to make himself more lovable by showing off his many tricks. Ted soon learns that changing himself to find love is not the way to go. When he remembers his mom's advice, "Just be Yourself" cute and cuddly Ted finds the perfect family to take him home.
