About the Author
Mr. Whichard began his career in 1996 when he was asked to help find internship sites for fellow participants in a non-profit organization. This opportunity with a local youth non-profit agency later evolved into his first job. After spending six years with the youth organization Mr. Whichard moved on to work with the EARN Centers in Philadelphia (Employment Advancement and Retention Network) a welfare-to-work program designed to get families back into the workplace. During this time Mr. Whichard designed and implemented a series of workshops designed to ensure that his participants were able to walk into the interview confidently and interviewed well. These workshops called "job clubs" effectively increased his placement percentage from 81% to 89%. After spending a short time working for Drexel University (by way of contract) in 2008 Mr. Whichard relocated to Mesa, Arizona to continue his placement career and begin research for his new book, "Interview Me: the complete guide to employment," and has since maintained an above average placement rate. Today Mr. Whichard serves as the CEO of Interview Me, LLC a company focused on educating job seekers on ever changing employment trends. Mr. Whichard brings along a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and an eagerness to enrich the lives of others.
