Synopsis
Bud on a Roll Book 2 of Kids' Safety Squad learning series is about Bud and Bug learning about eyes on the path they travel. If eyes are elsewhere, that's the number one reason why trips and falls happen. It is the simple concept that if you don't see what is in front of your feet, painful things can happen. This is a repeated atrisk action that is uncovered every day during injury investigations across our country. Kids can easily learn this lesson early in their lives and maybe prevent the pain from a fall as they play and have fun. Let's give kids an opportunity to start developing one of the most important safety behaviors, Eyes on Path, and that will give them a head start to an injuryfree life. Read a Kids Safety Squad book to one of our young people and share in the discovery of an injury prevention conversation that will make a difference.

About the Author
Tony Jaksa Sr. has worked a lifetime in northern Minnesota, instructing teams and students on Safe Response to Fire, Confined Space Dangers, and Hazardous Material Releases and has also facilitated investigations on over 400 Process and/or injury incidents. During that time he has reviewed, written and/or updated Safety Programs and procedures for many Industrial and Construction companies. Over the last 25 years he has delivered training for the Minnesota Safety Council, Northern Lumber safety, Midwest Safety Consultants. Tony has visited over 33 industrial sites across the midwest and spoke/trained Behavioral Safety Process, Confined Space Safety and Rescue, 70E Electrical Safe Practices, Hazardous Material Response, OSHA 10/30 , Excavation Competent Person and House Crane Safety. Currently he works as a Site Safety Specialist, for Midwest Safety Consulting, out of Grand Rapids, MN on a large Construction project in middle Minnesota. During his off work hours he spends time developing his mission and hobby; writing children's picture books, on Kid's Safety and in this effort hopes to find a path to early childhood injury prevention and to help build the next ready to work Safety generation.
