Synopsis
Desperate Deals is the third book in the Desperate Series. Rose and Josh have declared their love for each other, and Rose has been reunited with Daniel, the father she had always believed was dead. Daniel has been reunited with Letty, his former wife. Everything should be perfect. However, Daniel can't accept Josh because he is not good enough for Rose and forbids them to see each other. Josh needs to be strong in martial arts to protect Rose from the continued Underworld threat and also has to become financially self-sufficient, the last phase in his Angel training, before Daniel will consider any relationship between them. Josh desperately tries to bargain with Daniel for time with Rose, having to perform increasingly impossible tasks to prove his worth. Daniel relocates with Rose, Letty and Bai Bao to Wyoming in an attempt to distract Rose and help her to forget Josh. While Daniel and Josh are increasingly busy, Rose only has Bai Bao to protect her, and the Underworld is busy plotting ways to kill or capture her. Kuri, an Underworld prince with his own agenda, kidnaps her and takes her to the Underworld. Rose must have the strength to survive being kidnapped and taken deep into the Underworld. Daniel and Josh must overcome their differences and work together to rescue her from the clutches of the demons. There are no guarantees that any of them will survive the ordeal.

About the Author
Maggie Roos writes about the Matakai Angels on earth, and their exploits with friends, lovers, companions and enemies. The Matakai, although descended from fierce, brave, angelic warriors of old, are a fun-loving, inquisitive, mischievous race. Their sense of adventure is legendary. They are fascinated by humans and live among them, mostly undetected. Maggie calls Adelaide, in South Australia, home, after many adventures elsewhere. It is, after all, the place where she was born, and her two black cats, Minimu and Maximu require her presence, although they do allow her ample time to write. Besides, most of her awesome family, and undoubtedly some of the Matakai, live in Adelaide.
