About the Authors

Matthew Morris is a Vanier Scholar at the University of Calgary. His current research uses genomics techniques to study temperature adaptation in threespine stickleback.

Dr. Christopher Somers is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Regina (somersbiology.ca). His research program examines interactions between humans and animals, and has a variety of applied fisheries components.
