The paintings of Di Bresciani, artist and musician, are currently exhibited at the Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in Townsville to coincide with the renowned Australian Festival of Chamber Music. Texts in this multiauthored, richly colour illustrated publication focus on relationships between music and art and colour and sound. The paintings reflect strong technical and personal development towards an invidual style largely based on the exploration of colour and its perception - whether it be in music or art. Di Bresciani is well known in Australia and overseas as an artist, musician and educator. Since the first solo exhibition of her paintings in 1995, she has participated in many exhibitions in Australia as well as London, Paris and new York. Her work is represented in more than 150 collections across Australia and in the UK, France, USA, Germany and Japan.

I have the greatest respect and admiration for Di Bresciani – an active, generous, creative and gifted exponent of the arts who throughout her musical life has found the greatest expression in drawing and painting. (Berek Segan Chevalier dans L’Ordre des Artes et des Lettres)
These works are a gift from the artist, who is involved professionally with music – and is a lover of music – but who has the courage to explore another medium of expression. She has an intellectual and spiritual desire to seek through her painting an understanding of the human condition and humanity’s endless search for meaning and solace. (Maria Prendergast Visual Art Commentator)
