About the Author
Dr. Daphne "Damaria" Burleson believes the revelation of God's love is easily expressed when you choose to approach His work with passion and fervency! Daphne Burleson, a native Texan, relocated to Southern California in 1988 and has, since, made the Inland Empire her home. Over the past 20-plus years, Dr. Burleson has had the privilege to serve as: Choir Member, Worship Team Vocalist and Coordinator, Women's Fellowship Coordinator, Youth Outreach Coordinator, Dramatic Arts Director, Producer/Director/Lead Writer for a local Radio Broadcast, Actor and Vocalist for a Touring Evangelistic Team, Choreographer and Worship Dancer. Dr. Daphne "Damaria" Burleson is a Licensed and Ordained Evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She received certain theatrical training at Texas Southern University, in Houston Texas in the early 1980's. She has since received her: AA in Liberal Studies, from San Bernardino Valley College, and both her Bachelors in Biblical Studies, Master of Divinity Degree and Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Next Dimension Bible College, in Ontario, California. Over the years, God has allowed Dr. Burleson to also acquire specialized trainings and experiences: Licensed Cosmetologist, Special Effects Make-Training, and Professional Plus-Size Modeling since 1986, to accentuate the overall excellence that God requires in the Creative Arts arena. Daphne has produced original: CD's, books, plays, commercials and a wide spectrum of artistic venues to the Glory of God. She believes that "If God said it....I'll do it!" Consequently, the fruit that has manifested, in her creative walk with God, is endless. Glory to God! Dr. Burleson received her spiritual name "Damaria" from the Lord in 2012. Combining her first-name "Daphne" (which in the Greek means champion) and her middle-name "Maria" (in Spanish it means "chosen vessel") - Damaria has been chosen by God to go and win souls to Christ, utilizing the Creative Arts as her tools of evangelism.
