Synopsis
Marcel Dekrey, angel of The Lord and nine-hundred year old vampire, is a double agent in service to The Most High God. Marcel is charged with a clear mandate; observe and report to the heavenly host events as they unfold in the dangerous world of anomalies--vampires, werewolves, witches, warlocks, demonic creatures, and variations of each--which exists within our own, and intercede if and when necessity demands.
Necessity does indeed demand when Marcel learns a recent attack against him was orchestrated by his ancient enemy, Stefano the Gouge. The assault is part of his enemy's plan to use Marcel's duel nature to enact a ritual derived from a powerful artifact which has been in the possession of the human military since the end of World War II; The Book of the Dead.

From the Author
I have some stories published online, but this is my first novel. The main character, Marcel DeKrey, as well as the story itself, was actually born at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where my then two year old daughter Logan was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with regurgitation. She was determined to be in heart failure and admitted on the donor's list. As we sat in our baby's hospital room night after night, hoping and prayingto God for a miracle, I realized that for our child to live, it would mostlikely mean another child would have to die. I didn't want any more children to die,I wanted God to change this, and I asked the Lord on behalf of all childrenincluding my own...I asked Him to change reality itself. This made me think of astory in which Our Lord would change reality. We got Logan christened on September 4, 2014 at the hospital. That night, we were informed that a wonderful donor family had been found.
