Synopsis
For 17-year-old Elena Watkins, the world of Paegeia is not finished revealing all its secrets. During a summer break intended for relaxation, she discovers that her harrowing adventure to retrieve the King of Lion sword wasn't the destiny foretold by the cryptic Viden, a dragon with the ability to see a person's true fate. The words inked onto the page of the mysterious Book of Shadows remains black, and Elena must return to Dragonia Academy to discover their true meaning.
Upon her return to the magnificent castle, she has to face a challenge of a different kind - keeping her boyfriend, Lucian McKenzie, the Prince of Tith and love of her life, away from the dangerous new student, Paul Sutton. Well lets just say this book takes the phrase 'action packed' too a whole new level. Okay, so I'll summarize everything with this: Everything is mind blowing and it's FRAWSOME; in a dark kind of way - GoodreadsThere are not enough words to describe how much I love this series. The books are amazing and they drag you into this fantastical world that you never want to leave. Some of the times you get frustrated with Elena and others because you have to wonder how no one has figured out the obvious (i won't spoil anything and if you have read the books i am sure you know exactly what I'm talking about) but at the same time if the characters did figure it out right from the start the books would be way less interesting. Adrienne Woods knows what she is doing. This BOOK! I thought i knew exactly where she was going with it, but then i got to the end. Damn!!! I cried and got angry, but I realized after a short time of recovery that it needed to be this way for the truth to come out. Even though it totally broke my heart! And Paul! Ughhhh I hate him! I hate him and the people he stands for. But seriously, this book had me laughing, crying, frustrated, excited, and pretty much on a roller coaster of emotions the whole time and i loved every second of it!
