Tesfatsion Medhanie teaches law and political science at the University of Bremen (Germany). An Eritrean by birth, he has been engaged in dialogue on the Horn of Africa and United States policy for over two decades. He has written books, discussion papers and articles on various political issues of the Horn of Africa, Africa's liberation, human rights, and on democratization processes on the continent.
