Among the poets of the Silver Age has forgotten almost deliberately. Thus the poet was Solomon Venyaminovich Kopelman, the first publication of the chosen alias "S.Bart". The first collection of Bart - the only one published in Russia, - known in a single copy. Bart later settled in exile, but in a country hostile to Russian poetry - in Poland. In Berlin and Warsaw came four more of his books. In 1941, the poet died in the Warsaw ghetto. More than half a century was to pass to Stanford University published the first collection of poems Bart. The book became a rarity, and the facts and materials continued to accumulate. The proposed reader edition collected all that gives the right to consider Solomon Bart one of the greatest Russian poets of Eastern Europe.
