About the Author
Thomas Savage was born in 1915 in Salt Lake City and now lives in Virginia. His literary career spans five decades and13 novels, most notably The Power of the Dog (1967) and I Heard My Sister Speak My Name (1977).
Reviews
Set in 1920s Montana, Savage's 1967 novel introduces the Burbank brothers, whose lives are permanently altered when one falls in love with a widow and brings the woman and her son to live on their isolated ranch.
