About the Author

David Novak is J. Richard and Dorothy Shiff Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Toronto, Ontario. He was a coauthor of "Dabru Emet: A Jewish Statement on Christians and Christianity," first published in The New York Times in September 2000.
