About the Author

Rudi Dallos is Research Director and Reader in Clinical Psychology on the Plymouth University doctoral training course in clinical psychology, and consultant clinical psychologist specialising in therapeutic work with children and their families in the Southwest. He has written several books including: Working Systemically with Families, Researching Psychotherapy and Counselling and Reflective Practice in Psychotherapy and Counselling (all Open University Press). Ros Draper is a therapist and teacher who has made major contributions to the development of family therapy in Britain over the last 35 years. As Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Tavistock Clinic, London, and the Institute of Family Therapy, London, she has worked in both adult and child psychiatric settings.
