Linda Grant De Pauw is a Professor of History at the George Washington University and the founder and president of The MINERVA Center, an institution devoted to promoting women's military studies. She is the author of works of fiction and nonfiction including Battle Cries and Lullabies: Women in War from Prehistory to the Present, Founding Mothers: Women of America in the Revolutionary Era, and Baptism of Fire.
