Cassie again teams with Alex in Treasure Beach to investigate the acts of vandalism that are sabotaging a crew's efforts to find a Spanish galleon and its legendary treasure. In both titles suspects are legion, improbable clues and glamour abound, and dangers are scattered throughout--but characters are flat and uninteresting and situations are too trite to sustain reader interest.
