Through a series of adventures he keeps her safe until the secret of the islands is uncovered, and she can return to her home. She leaves with her research is in tatters, guarding a secrete that can never be told, but knowing she has much to accomplish in life.

Most of my research and writings have elements of social justice. The social injustice of prejudice is a thread running through this book. It shows how easy it is for anyone to develop a prejudice especially if it is out of fear. It is a story of our times told in an easy to read style which hopefully strengthens our own perceptions to help us understand ourselves.I loved writing this book, making up a culture that resembles Pacific cultures and yet is not of any island group. The specific elements are all possible and have occurred in some similar ways in different places.
