About the Author
Ari Folman (1962) nació en Haifa, Israel, hijo de una familia de supervivientes del Holocausto nazi. Su galardonada película de animación documental Waltz with Bashir (Globo de Oro y nominada a los Óscar en 2008) parte de estaexperiencia. También guionista, Folman es actualmente uno de los directores cinematográficos más renombrados de Israel. David Polonsky (1973) se graduó en la Bezalel Academy of Art and Design deJerusalén, donde actualmente imparte clases, en 1998. Como ilustrador paracuentos infantiles, ha obtenido dos veces el premio del Museo de Israel. En 2008 participó como director artístico y dibujante de la premiada película Waltz with Bashir. Asimismo, se ha ocupado de la dirección artística de un buen número de programas televisivos de animación.
