The book is well structured in a way it conveys the foreign locale and the misadventures of Lila Thibideaux, whose Aunt Rowena almost steals the show in a character-driven tale of dark humor. The author writes an engaging narrative. Lila and the others, both the primary and secondary characters, are, individually and collectively, certainly strong enough to carry this narrative, which prompts the reader’s interest in always wanting to know what will happen next in a book that would make a very enjoyable movie since it is definitely a witty, enjoyable story."
