From the Author:
"Willamena the Rescue Mouse" is one of my favorite stories. Like "Max Appreciates" it is written in poetry format which I believe brings music and magic into any story. It's like skipping among the stars.
Willamena is a real mouse. She is my baby. I never knew I would have mice as pets but along came Willamena and she just stepped all over my heart, found an opening and squeezed her way in. I would elaborate on this but when you read the story you will understand how I came about to have her in my life.
Mice are amazing creatures with enormous personalities and I can't imagine my life without her!
Have fun!
About the Author:
Nicole Rivera is a children's book author. She is the guardian of a beautiful corn snake named Dumpling and has an affinity for all animals, especially pit bulls.
Her first book, "Max, the Shelter Dog," was inspired by a pit bull named Max who Nicole met on her first day of volunteering at her local animal shelter. Since then, it has been Max's mission to teach animal compassion worldwide.
To further spread Max's mission of animal compassion, a companion teacher's curriculum titled "Max's Animal Compassion Curriculum" (MACC) was written to help teachers and educators bring animal compassion into the classroom.
Max's life long mission is to teach animal compassion and so Max P. Productions was formed in order to realize this mission through the production of high-quality children's books, music, games, full-length feature animation and so much more.
It is Max's hope that through his story a new generation of leaders and guardians of the animal kingdom will be born.
Max P. Productions includes Max's titles as well as other titles such as "Herbie Greenthumb," "Baboo the Elephant," and more.
