About the Author

Madhur Jaffrey, author and actress, grew up in Delhi and moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has appeared in numerous radio and television plays, on Broadway, and in films. Equally well known as a writer, she is the author of three books on Indian Cuisine. Ms. Jaffrey is married, with three children, and lives in New York City.
