Synopsis
Charles Harwood is an out-of-work actor, but fill-in jobs aren't for him. He doesn't want to drive a cab, deal dope, or add "another string to his bow"?he's a purist. And without any acting to do, the main event of his day is an audition for an ice-cream commercial. But first he's got to get there... It means escaping the bed of a regrettable liaison and dodging death-by-juggernaut and trial by Job Center. And that's just the morning. About the Author
Alan Ford is one of Britain's best-known actors and has appeared in many movies, including Farenheit 451, The Squeeze, The Long Good Friday, Snatch, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. His numerous TV appearances include The Alan Partridge Show, The Bill, Minder, EastEnders, Little Napoleons and Law and Order. He has also worked at The Old Half Moon Theatre in London's East End, and Theatre Royal Stratford East. This is his first book.
