About the Author:

Pierre Titard received his BS, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He has taught at seven universities in the south, east, and Midwest, and served as administrator of the accounting program at three of these universities. He is currently Associate Professor of Accounting at Southeastern Louisiana University, Hammond, Louisiana. In addition to the prior five editions of this text, he has co-authored two texts titled, Introduction to Accounting and Principles of Accounting. His publications include articles in Journal of Accountancy, Accounting Horizons, Taxation for Accountants, and Journal of Applied Management and Entreprenuership.
