Gros has put together research from a group of University of Missouri—St. Louis, Cameroon, and other American and African scholars. The volume is less about cameroon today than it is about the forces.... that have shaped Cameroon. This makes the book less time sensitive than most works on today's Africa and as such a valuable tool for understanding contemporary Cameroon. Summing Up: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
