In 1986, after obtaining a college degree and a level of worldly success, she was still desperately unhappy. Once more she was hospitalized for depression. During this final hospitalization, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, and her life changed dramatically.
Today, Christina writes a pathway of healing for those who have been victimized: victims of sexual, verbal and physical abuse, mental illness, post-abortive women and men, and for the millions of innocents who have lost their lives in the abortion Holocaust.
She appeared in the Emmy nominated documentary, "Before You Say Good-Bye." The documentary, which focuses on the myths about suicide, has been telecast nationally and internationally in millions of homes. She is also the author of the book "Victory over Suffering" which documents her own steps of healing from abuse and mental illness. Her new book Forgiven finding peace in the aftermath of abortion, is a tool to be used to heal post-abortive women and men, and to prevent others from making this tragic choice. Forgiven has been endorsed by Dr. John Willke, Ohio Senator Jim Jordan, State of Ohio Representative Mike Gilb and includes forewords by Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell and Dr. Mark Bubeck.
With almost a decade of experience in media, including years as a Christian television producer and reporter, she has interviewed many Christian celebrities. Personally, she has had the opportunity to appear nationally on the Herman and Sharron Bailey Show, and Worship TV Live, along with other local TV and radio programs.
Christina is a 1982 graduate of Bluffton College, Bluffton, Ohio, and a graduate of the International School of Biblical Counseling in Indianapolis. She is currently completing a graduate degree in the Master of Ministry program at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. She has spoken at churches, prisons, women’s meetings, and in a Haitian revival. She has also hosted TV broadcasts, and emceed at fairs and banquets.
Christina continues to be involved in freelance journalism through Stephen Paul Video Ministries, authoring a monthly column for Generations Magazine and Our Parent and Family Magazine and is a regular guest columnist for The Lima News. At times, her story might seem heartbreaking, but her healing is a joyous testimony to the supernatural power of a miracle working God.
