About the Author:
CHRIS KARSTEN is an experienced journalist and an accomplished author. His books include two books for young people, and six titles in a popular True Crime series. For his first adult novel, based on the nineteenth-century life of Saartjie Baartman in Africa, London and Paris, he has received the prestigious ATKV prize for outstanding popular prose in Afrikaans in 2008.
