About the Author
Donn F. Draeger was a U.S. Marine Corps officer and a historian of martial arts disciplines, in which he held a variety of expert ranks and teaching licenses. He was technical director of the magazine Martial Arts International and author of many books on the fighting arts of Asia. He died in 1982.

Sixth printing, hardcover, has a light lean to the binding, shallow bowing to the boards, bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, rubbing with some smudging to the cloth, a touch of waving to the head of the text block, and a previous owner's name neatly penned to the head of the front fly leaf. Overall, this is a solid, tight, Very Good copy in a like dust jacket, which has bumps with creasing and short peels to the spine ends and corners, strong sun toning to the spine and front hinge, and rubbing with a few smudges to the covers and spine.
