Synopsis
The Terrazzo Architecture & Design book--dedicated to people who felt the necessity to break away from whatever they believed was stale, institutional, cumbersome, dead. It is dedicated to artists and poets who worked to put together a new vocabulary, a new description of the world. The works published, be they projects built or sketches, written sophisticated essays or simple notes, assume the responsibility for making a strong statement. They don't debate old problems in a new way, but consider the old ones uninteresting. They change subject or approach. They speak of something else. (Barbara Radice, Editor).
