Framing the recent "educational turn" in the arts within a broad historical and social context, this anthology raises fundamental questions about how and what should be taught in an era of distributive rather than media-based practices. About the Author:

Felicity Allen is a London-based artist, educator and writer. A founder member of the Women's Art Library, she has held lecturing positions at Goldsmiths and other leading art schools and was Head of Learning at Tate Britain (2003 - 10). She is a guest scholar at the Getty Research Institute 2011 - 2012.
