Synopsis

The Classic Guitar Collection, Volume One, edited by Harvey Vinson, is a classical guitar sheet music collection featuring an extensive anthology of solo repertoire spanning from the fourteenth century through the music of Béla Bartók. It brings together works by celebrated composers including Bach, Carcassi, Giuliani, Mozart, Shostakovich, Sor, Stravinsky, Aguado, Carulli, Dowland, Tárrega, and many others, and is described in the original source as being for guitar players of all standards.

Designed for classical guitarists seeking a broad and varied repertoire, this collection offers music from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and twentieth-century periods in a single volume. Its carefully selected anthology makes it an excellent resource for exploring historic works, expanding a personal music library, and enjoying timeless solo literature for practice and performance.
