About the Author:

Karolyn J. Snyder has been teaching for 40 years, beginning in elementary education and working up to the college level. She is currently a professor of education at the University of South Florida, where she has been teaching for the past 10 years. She received her Ph.D. in educational administration from Texas Tech University and her Masters in psychoeducational processes from Temple University.

Michele Acker-Hocevar has been involved in education for nearly 25 years. Her positions have included teaching at the elementary school level, school administration, and her current position as an assistant professor of administration and education leadership at the University of Alabama. She received her Ph.D. in curriculum administration from the University of South Florida and her masters in educational administration from the University of Idaho.

Kristen M Snyder received her Ph.D. from University of South Florida, where she received an interdisciplinary degree in leadership and organizational studies and research and evaluation methods. She is currently on the visiting faculty research at South Florida University, working on the Educational Quality Benchmark System.
