About the Author

Alan Battman has been a photographer for 40 years and photographing food since 2001. Batt has worked with over 800 chefs and self-published 30 books. He's won the award for best food photography for a cookbook in the US. He's produced "The Great Gathering of Chefs" for 9 years, raising money for various children's charities and had a permanent exhibition at the Empire State Building for 17 years.
