About the Author
Emily Spinelli is the Executive Director of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) and Professor Emerita of Spanish at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Emily is the author of college-level Spanish textbooks as well as articles and reviews in scholarly journals. She has also served as Editor of Foreign Language Annals. Emily is a frequent speaker at conferences and is also the recipient of numerous awards including the Florence Steiner Award for Leadership in Foreign Language Education.
