This self-help book for business families and for those who advise them is divided into two sections. Part one, Uncovering the Issues, exposes the most common problems facing business families. Part two, Making It Work, points the way toward solutions. The book addresses the 39 Critical Questions most often asked by family business consultants. These are the questions most business families need to answer in order to transfer successfully the business to the next generation. In the book, a hypothetical first generation entrepreneurial family on the threshold of transition addresses each of the 39 Critical Questions.
