About the Author:

Carlos Hidalgo has been fishing in South Florida since he was a kid. He has been interested in peacock bass since their introduction to the area and now concentrates most of his fishing efforts on them. Carlos is a college art professor, free-lance writer, photographer, and commercial fly tier who specializes in custom-tied peacock patterns. His writing and photographs have appeared in Florida Sportsman, Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, Fly Fishing, Florida Game and Fish Finder Magazine, and Warm Water Fly Fishing.
