About the Author:

Jordan S. Metzger is a modern day traveler who finds immeasurable pleasure in the lakes of the Adirondack Mountains and the back roads of the World. This 1985 graduate of Cornell University quit his job in real estate investment to wander more than 14,000 miles across the United States with his motorcycle, tent, sleeping bag, and toothbrush. Throughout the miles his interest in happiness and enlightenment grew as he met and spoke to people from every realm of our society.

His next journey, facilitated through the time machine of books, empowered him to convene with some of history's most respected and illustrious masters. The result is this book, in which he provides a "you are here" marker on the road map of modern and ancient thought.
