About the Author:
Jaswinder Singh is the first 2nd generation Canadian Sikh to write about Sikhism. He co-founded the Series in Contemporary Sikh Studies. He recieved a double BA degree from Simon Fraser University in Psychology and Criminology. He is presently pursuing a MEd in Counseling Psychology at University of British Columbia. His research focus is to make eastern religious practices compatible with contemporary counseling approaches and theories. Thus making counseling more accessible to minority groups in North America.
