About the Author:
Vera is recognized as a leading authority in teaching children and adults how to become competent and enthusiastic writers. She is a dynamic speaker and best-selling author. She recently received the Medallion Award from Seattle Pacific University for service in her field. Her master's degree is from the University of Calgary. She was a teacher, administrator and consultant from grades one to nine with the Calgary Board of Education. Vera is the mother of three daughters,has three grandchildren and lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
