Toru Abo, MD Born in 1947. A graduate of Tohoku University Medical School in Japan. Currently a professor of Nigata University Graduate School (immunology) He created monoclonal antibody against NK cell antigen CD57 while he attended Alabama University in 1980. In 1989, he discovered extrathymic T cells. In 1996, he solved the mechanism of white cells controlled by autonomic nerves. In 1999, he discovered that the prevention of malaria is by extrathymic T cells. In 2000, he published an article on Digestive Diseases and Sciences on granulocyte theory which is controversial to the 100-year-old theory that stomach ulcer is caused by acid. He continues to present the result of his study is internationally active in front line of immunology. His books are Future Immunology , Illustrated Immunology , etc. Kazuko Tatsumura Hillyer, PhD Born in Japan in 1938. She s a graduate of Toho Academy of Music and Boston University, and has Maters in Arts from New York University. She is the president of Gaia Holistic Health Center in New York. She has numerous achievements in the fields of arts and culture as a former stage organizer, and also as a humanitarian worker and holistic healer. Her awards include but are not limited to; 2003 Physician of the Year, Honorary Chairman, awarded by the National Republican Congressional Committee s Physicians Advisory Board, Smetana Medal from Czechoslovakia, Gold Medal of Cultural Merit from Vienna, Austria in 1986.
