An amazing oyster of a book, filled to the brim with wackiness, wonderment and sublime wisdumb. For every child from five to five-thousand years young.

From the Publisher:
Let Mozz take you where no one's been before, far down the road to Nowhere, through the jungles of the Jungle Gym (watch out for the giant slimy slugs and chewing gum mud) to a world of elephant birds, and singing sofas, supersonic fried eggs and turtles on towering legs. Meet Boomerang Bill and Boomerang Betty, Little Blue Riding Hood and the Big Good Wolf; drop in at the Creepy Crawly Shop of Shocks (perhaps even buy a frog-flavored lollipop and some Dracula Pop); cruise the seven seas with a toothless pirate crew, and swoop across the heavens on a stolen witch's broom.

Learn from the Pearls about homework-helping pets and what NOT to do when you catch a dragon in your net. Learn from the Pearls why dinosaurs should be kept on a leash and why sometimes tooth fairies can take the wrong teeth. O travel with Mozz, thirsty for knowledge, to the Well of Life at the other side of the whacky world, where you can sip great wisdumb through a straw and be smart forevermore . . .

Mozz is absolutely magical, a rhyme and rhythm wizard, undoubtedly the goofiest goofy guru this side of the silly sun.

About the Author:
Winner of the Hayashi-Newkirk Poetry Prize for Children, Mozz, is perhaps best known to the younger generation through his song lyrics for the popular "anime" movies released in the United States. They include such evergreen classics as Ghost in the Shell, Mobile Suit Gundam, and Cowboy Bebop. His writings also include the television puppet plays The Star Polisher and The Sound Seller, lyrics for the soundtrack of Anne of Green Gables, and an adaptation of his book The Cucumber's Telephone Number into a children’s operetta.

Mozz has also written for Eric Clapton, Boy George, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Yellow Magic Orchestra. He was awarded the Gold Prize at the Tokyo Music Festival for his lyrics; the Grand Prize for Poetry at the Boulder, Colorado, Festival of Literature; and his scenario for the dance-drama The Resurrection of Radiance was recently performed in collaboration with the London City Ballet at the West End's Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
