Stanislaw was a butcher that operated a small butcher shop for over 50 years in Seattle's Pike Place Market. The market is world famous and operates today as a functioning market that is on the National Register of Historic Sites. For over 100 years, farmers, fishmongers, butchers, artists and craftsman have sold their wares at the Pike Place Market, in open stalls that they have rented from the City by the day, week, month or years. I am a thirth generation Washington lawyer. I became a lawyer in 1962 and joined my father's firm at that time. My grandfather was a lawyer that began representing Stanislaw in the 1920's. When Grandfather became a U.S. court Commissioner for the state of Washington, he turned over the representation of Stanislaw to my Father. When I joined the firm in 1962, I took over the legal intrests of Stanislaw. Our legal family represented Stanislaw for over 45 years. Whan Stanislaw died in 1966, he left Seattle with one of the most exciting inheritance mysteries in our history. This is the story of Stanislaw's secret.

Graham Fitch was born in Seattle, Washington. He is a third generation lawyer. His father was the son of a U.S. Court Commissioner that came west with his wife the early part of the 20th century. Graham attended the University of Washington, University of Washington Law School and was a commissioned officer in the Counter Intelligence Corps of the U.S. Army.
