About the Author
Alan Loots was born in Carroll, Iowa. He became a professional musician at age ten, playing in his father's dance band. A Journalism graduate from Drake University, Mr. Loots has worked in television and advertising for several years. He lives in Des Moines. Storm Lake is his first novel.
