Jon Beau Lee has confetti in his blood. His mother's lineage arrived in New Orleans in 1730, via Corsica, then of Italy. In 1740 the Fernandez branch arrived from the Canary Islands. Jon Beau Lee's family relations have participated in the Mardi Gras of New Orleans since the 1840's.
