About the Author:
Shawnte Lawrence was born and raised in Flint, MI, the oldest of eight children. Growing up in an environment of poverty, part of her lives in every book she writes. Through her talent as an author, her mission is to get a message—good or bad—out to the world. Being a single mother of seven children, she is determined to survive her struggles by using her gifts from God in her writing. She hopes to bring comfort and to help prevent bad situations that can happen in people’s lives if they don't take the proper precautions.
